“Cite Unseen” Portrait

February 18th, 2008

This is a portrait I did of one of our horses, “Cite Unseen”, also known as Danny.

Please note it is not an error on the photo, he is missing an eye in real life.

Broken Car…

February 18th, 2008

So as many I am sure know, I am currently in Florida with the Winter Equestrian Festival. I have been here for just over a month and have a month left..

My car is broken (What else is new?) and I am trying to get it fixed so I can buy a new Scion when I go home. Anyways the shop finally figured out what is wrong with it after it has been there for 2 weeks and come to this conclusion:

EMC. Dead. Need a new one at the tune of $1,100!?!?! WHAT! Hell no!

PANIC! Anyone have a rebuilt one for cheap?

Ghetto Donuts

December 28th, 2007

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! One of the things Danny and I received was a deep fryer, something I had been wanting to make home made donuts… a recipe which is held in my family and one I love dearly…

So, tonight came the donut adventure! However, despite the fact I have the recipe, I don’t have the necessary tools. All is well, here what is needed in ghetto donut creation:

First, your recipe. Got that, onto step #2

Number 2
After creating the dough, roll it out. I don’t have a roller, so I use… a flashlight

Number 3
Cut the size of the donut. Don’t have a donut cutter, therefore use a pub glass from the Lucky Dog Tavern and Grill… flipped upside down!

Number 4
Every donut has a hole, another part of the donut cutter I don’t possess. So a bottle cap works just dandy!

Number 5
Put it in to fry!

Number 6
And enjoy!
